Most of the time, when people purchase new pivot systems the pivot barricades come as part of the package. However, some farmers are upgrading their pivots to have auto stop or auto reverse capabilities. Farmore of Idaho Standley & Company installs the auto kits and barricades to make it all happen. The kit is a bar that is installed above the last tire on the system. When the pivot reaches the barricade, the bar presses against it and "switches" it off or sets it to reverse. It functions similarly to that of a light switch. We purchase the kits from Reinke, but we build the barricades ourselves, saving the customer a few hundred dollars on every project.
