Sloped Screen Separator

Sloped Screen Separator

Slope screen separators use gravity to separate the solids from the liquid which is a perfect option to repurpose the water to use in the parlors. The sloped screen separator is installed on a raised platform. The liquid enters through a center mid-level intake that forces it to flow smoothly across the top of the screen. The liquid coming off the screen is exhausted thru a drain line, while the fiber is stacked underneath the separator for easy cleanup and management.

Key Features:

  • Comes in a 4' x 4', 8' x 8', or 12' x 8' stainless steel screen
  • Efficient design with carefully dimensioned opening sizes to give you the best quality liquid
  • Can process the daily manure output of up to 300 cows in 1 hour
  • With a simple design in mind, the Sloped Screen Separator has no moving parts, which in turn has very low maintenance and minimal wear.

2 Stage Slope Screen Separator

2 Stage Slope Screen Separator

The 2 Stage Separator is installed on a raised platform and the wet fiber coming off the screen is compressed thru a rubber roller. The stainless steel roller reduces the moisture content in the fiber while the excess liquid drains out. The liquid coming off the screen is exhausted thru a drain line while the fiber is stacked underneath the separator. Compressing the fiber sliding off the 2 Stage Separator also reduces the moisture content in the solids.

Key Features:

  • Comes in a 8' x 8' or a 12' x 8' stainless steel screen
  • 8' roller press system to compress fiber
  • Can process the daily manure output of up to 300 cows in 1 hour
  • Bottom rollers powered by 1.5HP motor
  • Optional roll-up canvas to prevent solids from drying and sticking to the screen due to sun or wind

Vertical Dewaterer

Vertical Dewaterer

Reliable and efficient, the Vertical Dewaterer paired with the X-Press is designed to process high volumes of manure. The Vertical Dewaterer consists of a vertical cylindrical screen in which an auger raises manure material to the top discharge while the liquid flows by gravity through the screen openings. There is no contact between the auger and the screen and no pressure is applied. The Vertical Dewaterer processes high volumes of liquid dairy manure coming from scraped manure systems or digesters. It is used as a dewatering treatment prior to feeding an X-Press for bedding or compost applications. It is designed to work in conjunction with a Liquid Level Regulator Tank.

Key Features:

  • The solid output is approximately 17% to 18% dry matter.
  • Stainless steel screen
  • The auger is reversible for longer life
  • Easy to clean
  • Operates with a 3HP motor

X-Press

X-Press

The X-press distinguishes itself from other manure separation systems through its ability to compress manure fiber without altering the fiber integrity. The X-press's fiber quality limits the amount of airborne fiber as well as the amount of fiber sticking to the cow teats. The fiber yielded from these systems remains the best available comfort for your cows.

Key Features:

  • Many configurations are available and can process the daily manure output of up to 300 cows.
  • Can get up to 34% dry matter on the solids
  • Each press is driven by a 1.5HP motor
  • With the air-bag system the X-press can maintain a steady pressure to reduce the moisture in the solids
  • Easy access for easy cleaning
